Logan H. James Honors Brotherhood, Loss and Perseverance on “DAWGS”

Following the release of “YKHIC,” Logan H. James returns with “DAWGS,” an emotional new record that explores brotherhood, grief, loyalty and the strength it takes to keep moving forward.

Produced by Harvey Waal, “DAWGS” finds Logan reflecting on the people he has lost, the relationships that changed along the way, and the responsibility he feels to create something meaningful from those experiences. The song carries the weight of personal pain while remaining rooted in faith, family, and purpose.

Throughout the record, Logan opens up about watching friends leave, navigating environments shaped by violence and recognizing how quickly loyalty can change. Rather than allowing those experiences to define his future, he channels them into motivation—building for his son, creating opportunities for his people and working toward something greater than himself.
